Colloidal and Nanophase Systems

Colloidal dispersions and nanophase systems play an integral role in modern electronic manufacturing.  Combinations of materials, both conductive and insulating, are frequently assembled as nanosized or micron-sized systems through suspensions, binder matrices, or both.  These assembly systems are generally 'liquid' based, either aqueous or non-aqueous, but can also be applied from gas-phase methodologies or a combination of techniques.
